Adréana Kraschewski received her vocal training from Klesie Kelly-Moog at Köln College of Music where she graduated with honours. She then attended Irwin Gage’s Lied class and masterclasses with Kurt Moll, Thomas Hampson, Inge Borkh, Christa Ludwig, Jessye Norman, Dame Felicity Lott and Graham Johnson. She was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes and the Richard Wagner Verband Köln and has won several prizes, for example at the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin and the Deutscher Musikrat competition.
After her first engagement at Zurich Opera’s International Opera Studio, Adréana Kraschewski was a member of the ensemble at the Trier Theatre for two seasons. The specialist magazine ›Opernwelt‹ nominated her several times as the best up-and-coming artist. She was nominated as best singer for the role of Lakmé. In addition, engagements have taken her to numerous concert halls, festivals and various theatres throughout Europe. Last season, Adréana Kraschewski was heard at the Wuppertal Opera House as Hanna Glawari in Franz Lehár’s ›Die lustige Witwe‹. Most recently, she made her debut at Koblenz Theatre in the main roles in ›Ariadne auf Naxos‹.
She is currently playing the roles of Agathe in ›Der Freischütz‹ and other roles such as Miss Jessel in ›Turn of the Screw‹ and Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann at Oldenburg Staatstheater.
