The pianist Nikolai Lugansky is known for his outstanding interpretations of Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Chopin and Debussy in particular. He has already received numerous awards for his recordings and artistic merits, including the Diapason d’Or and many others. His most recent recording ›Richard Wagner‹ was released in March 2024 and won the Premio Abbiati del Disco 2024 for solo repertoire. According to ›Bachtrack‹, »Lugansky‘s mastery of the piano is outstanding«. The renowned classical music magazine ›Gramophone‹ ranks him as one of the »seminal« artists of all time.

Nikolai Lugansky regularly works with conductors such as Kent Nagano, Yuri Temirkanov, Manfred Honeck, Vasily Petrenko and Lahav Shani and has been invited by leading international orchestras, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and many more. In the 2024/25 season, he will perform at the Teatro alla Scala, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Wiener Konzerthaus, Wigmore Hall and the Tonhalle Zurich, among others. On tour, Nikolai Lugansky will also be returning to Korea, South America and the USA.
