Picnic and seating

There is a free choice of where to sit at the events in the designated rows. There are no seating reservations. When choosing where to sit, please also adhere to the minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other guests.

You are as always welcome to bring or hire chairs and blankets. However, please remember that space is limited this year due to the distancing rules. Of course you can enjoy picnic food and drinks you have brought with you or purchased from our market stalls – however, if possible please do so where you are seated.

Sparklers for the evening concerts will be available at the gates. Please pay attention to others! No liability can be accepted for any damage to property or injury to persons during the event.

The festival site is closed to park visitors during the festival.

Chair hire
Chairs can be hired for a fee of € 3.00 each (plus. € 5.00 deposit).

Blanket hire
Blankets can be hired for a fee of € 2.00 (plus € 3.00 deposit).

Ticket booth and entrance gate

There is only one ticket booth this year. It is located at the main entrance.

Barrier-free access is as always possible via the West Gate ›Westliches Torhaus‹ on presentation of a Disabled ID badge.

It is not permitted to:

  • erect tents or pavilions
  • bring dogs
  • BBQ in the grounds
  • erect visibility obstructing parasols
  • smoke, except in designated smoking areas
