打楽器

マルティン・グルービンガー

Technical perfection, a joy of playing and musical versatility make Martin Grubinger most likely the best multi-percussionist in the world. His repertoire stretches from solo works through chamber music with his Percussive Planet Ensemble to solo concertos. In the many years of his stage career, this multi-award-winning artist has made a unique contribution to placing the percussion as a solo instrument right at the centre of classical concert performance.

Alongside his many appearances at well-known festivals such as the Heidelberg Frühling, Bregenz Festival, Beethoven Festival in Bonn, and the Salzburg Festival (to name but a few), Grubinger has also played contemporary commissions, including with orchestras such as the Wiener Philharmoniker and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. In addition, he has won audiences over in performances with the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra Washington, Bamberger Symphoniker and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and numerous others. The 2022/23 season will be this internationally renowned artist’s last as, after almost two decades, he is saying goodbye to the stage. His concert with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will be one of the last, before Martin Grubinger devotes himself to new endeavours.
