›Bremen’s Legends and Tales‹
The Family Day offers you a diverse programme across the entire festival grounds – from Instrument Avenue, a story-teller, through to DIY-Art and Craft stalls and even some interactive exhibitions from the Universum Bremen and, of course, the NABU donkeys.

The Bremer Kaffeehaus-Orchester will set the musical ball rolling at 11am. For younger visitors, there will be a variety of workshops starting from 12noon which will include rehearsals for the premiere of the first ›Future-Lab play-along-orchestra‹. Between 11am and 3pm there will be guided tours through Knoops Park to the scenes found in Marga Berck’s epistolary novel.

The Finale at 3:30pm will unite young and old, together with the Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen, in the traditional Family Concert.

Our suggestion: don’t forget to register your child at one of the workshops during the morning if you would like them to take part in the Kammer­philharmonie’s Family Concert, where they will be able to demonstrate the fruits of their morning’s labour. Listen and be amazed!
