Spanish sounds in the orchestra – feisty with the famous ›Espana‹ by Emmanuel Chabrier, quiet and romantic in the ›Concerto de Aranjuez‹ von Joaquín Rodrigo. The programme also features excerpts from ›El Amor Brujo‹ and ›The Three-Cornered Hat‹ by Manuel de Falla as well as works by Isaac Albéniz, Pablo de Sarasate, Maurice Ravel and others.
As in every year, things promise to get especially exciting when the band and orchestra make music together, when Ultra High Flamenco and The Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen jointly interpret works from the band’s repertoire.
