タロディ、ベートーヴェン、ヴィヴァルディの作品
Look forward to a top-class classic event with a summery beach atmosphere. The concert will be conducted by the orchestra’s ›Artistic Best Friend‹ Pekka Kuusisto, who is also the soloist in Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons. He will be accompanied at this performance by the leading Swedish virtuoso of an instrument not usually found in classical music, the cittern. The Swede Ale Carr is thus in the best of company with the artistic director for the evening, Pekka Kuusisto, who is also known to Bremen concert goers through his performances with The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen as a musician who successfully brings the sound of folk music (in his case the fiddle) to the concert hall. The concert thus follows in several respects the founding idea of the PROMS, which Henry Wood launched in the 19th century to make classical music accessible to all, without educational or social barriers. So where else should the broadcast take place if not where everyone can follow it.

Please note: If you would like to enjoy the concert from a seat, please arrive early, as seating is not available in all areas of the Beach Lounge. However, there will be plenty of standing room – very Proms-like, as is also the tradition in the Royal Albert Hall. And the casual theme also applies to the dress code: Come as you are! The event begins at 8 p.m. and the live broadcast at 8.40 p.m.
