Sir Simon Rattle speaks with genuine admiration of Christian Tetzlaff, who celebrates his 50th birthday in 2016 and has long counted among the world’s greatest violinists. Yet he has never sought the media spotlight, giving precedence instead to his own language – that of music. However, this musical language is incredibly versatile. His repertoire ranges from Bach to Contemporary Music, including many discoveries along the way and spanning all genres. He is celebrating his milestone birthday with a grand tour together with The Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen.
