ヤン・リシエツキ

Jan Lisiecki’s interpretations and technique testify to a maturity far in advance of his years. At the age of 28, this Canadian can be seen giving concerts on the world’s great stages across the globe. In recent years, he has built up close relationships with conductors such as Sir Antonio Pappano, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Daniel Harding, Manfred Honeck and Claudio Abbado and has performed with renowned orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Orchestre de Paris, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and the London Symphony Orchestra. Recent re-invitations have brought him together again with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Filarmonica della Scala and others.

At the age of 18, Jan Lisiecki was the youngest ever winner of the Young Artist Award by Gramophone Magazine and received the Leonard Bernstein Award. At the age of 15, the musician signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon. His cycle of Beethoven songs recorded with Matthias Goerne was awarded the Diapason d’Or. Lisiecki’s eighth recording for this traditional label – a double album of Frédéric Chopin’s collected Nocturnes – immediately reached the top of the classical music charts in North America and Europe. After his inspiring concerts with the orchestra in 2023, the outstanding pianist will return to the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
