»We want to help ensure that the orchestra has the financial scope to implement its creative projects and maintain its high artistic standards in the future. To enable us to achieve this goal, an extended circle of Patrons would be most welcome.«
Bernd Hockemeyer, founder and chairman of the Patrons of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen
Leading members of the business community assist the orchestra in its particularly ambitious musical endeavours. As Patrons of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, they provide generous financial support for major projects such as recording the complete Beethoven symphonies cycle with Paavo Järvi. These outstanding recordings in Super Audio CD (SACD) quality, which have gained a number of international distinctions and awards, would not have been possible without the help of the Patrons.
Thanks to the generous support of the Patrons, the symphonies of Robert Schumann are currently being recorded in SACD quality as part of our new Schumann Project.
