Orchestra on tour

Endless possibilities

During the 2019 season, The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will of course also be travelling the world. In previous years, Asian countries have been the focus of the orchestra’s global tours. Motto for 2019 could be »Let’s go West!« In autumn, the ensemble will be crossing the Atlantic and heading for America – the USA and Mexico to be exact.

However, before its great voyage across the sea, the orchestra will be embarking on several European tours and performing a number of concerts stretching from the northernmost corner of Germany to the southern tip of Spain. The orchestra will be performing in the architecturally impressive concert halls of Gran Canaria and Tenerife in January, and in February, the orchestra will be performing in Germany’s largest concert hall – the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden. Of course, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie is also on the tour programme for 2019, as are the renowned concert halls of its European neighbour, for example the imposing Bruges Concertgebouw – whose hall is famous for its excellent acoustics – or the Konzerthaus Vienna.

Festivals

Summertime is festival time

Summer 2023 is once again dominated by large popular festivals: the Heidelberg Spring, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Swiss Klosters Music Festival and – one of the largest classical music festivals in the world – the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, to name but a few.
