Highlights 2023

New concert season

Starting the new concert season with illustrious names and exciting programmes, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen is resuming its subscription concerts in 2023, presenting musical highlights in a class of their own. Reserve your tickets online or via the Customer Service. There is a further reason to celebrate: founded in 1980, the Kammerphilharmonie will mark its 30-year Bremen Jubilee in 2023! Celebrations for this will begin in January with a ›Late Night Jazz‹ Event featuring Iiro Rantala and there will be other opportunities to celebrate with us throughout the year. Prepare to be surprised!

Matthias Goerne sings Schubert

›Simply heavenly‹·The baritone Matthias Goerne is considered an ambassador of German lieder, an outstanding performer of Schubert’s songs and one of the most internationally sought-after singers in his field. He has already performed several times with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, for example in 2018 in the performance of Brahms‘ ‚Requiem‘ in Bremen Cathedral.

Public viewing with superstar

World class in the concert hall and in the open air: As part of their joint tour, the concert of The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen with Chinese star pianist Lang Lang could not only be enjoyed in Bremen’s Glocke. At the same time, the concert featuring Haydn and Brahms symphonies as well as Beethoven’s 3rd piano concerto was broadcast live in the nearby Cathedral Square (Domshof). This is the second time that the orchestra has toured with the celebrated superstar and classical music ambassador – to the very special delight of music lovers who were able to enjoy the ›world class for everyone‹ event for free and in the open air.
