On 9th June, The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen featuring horn soloist Ben Goldscheider and conducted by Duncan Ward, performed at the Cologne Philharmonie. The programme not only showcased pieces by Dvořák and Mozart but also debuted the Horn Concerto for Horn and Orchestra, a piece Huw Watkins composed specifically for Goldscheider. This concert can currently be streamed on Philharmonie.tv.
The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen kicked off the festival season at the Rheingau Music Festival on 27th June. Conducted by Jérémie Rhorer, the orchestra performed at the Wiesbaden Kurhaus featuring the 18-year-old Brazilian violin prodigy, Guido Sant’Anna. Celebrated as a remarkable talent, his performance with the orchestra was streamed live on arte.tv and will remain accessible until 25th September 2024.
On 29th June, the Kammerphilharmonie performed at the Kissinger Sommer, again featuring Rhorer as the conductor. The soloist was the young and talented Hungarian pianist Mihály Berecz. This concert was also available via video live stream on the evening of the performance and can now be accessed for six months in our Klassik Cloud.
