TRIO DAVIDOFF

Hozumi Murata, Stephan Schrader and Momoko Murata have been performing as the Trio Davidoff since 1999. The name was inspired by a performance of Anton Arensky’s Piano Trio in D minor, which is dedicated to the virtuoso Russian cellist Karl Davidoff. Since then, the musicians have particularly focused on the romantic piano trio literature, whilst also frequently including duos in their repertoire.
