Fabian Müller has established himself as one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation. As early as 2017, he caused a sensation at the International ARD Music Competition in Munich, where he received no less than five prizes, including the Audience Award. Since then, Müller, born in 1990, has developed an international concert career at the highest level. In 2018, for example, he made his debut with the Bayerische Staatsorchester at New York’s Carnegie Hall and performed for the first time at the Elbphilharmonie the same year. In the meantime, he has made regular guest appearances at renowned concert halls and major festivals. Müller has performed with orchestras such as the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, the hr-Sinfonieorchester, the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich and with Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin.
In addition, this pianist is Artistic Director of his brainchild the chamber music series ‚Bonner Zwischentöne‘. His chamber music partners include Igor Levit, Liisa Randalu, Maximilian Hornung, the Schumann Quartet and Albrecht Mayer, with whom the pianist also recorded a joint Mozart album. Fabian Müller is also committed to music education. As festival pianist for the Ruhr Piano Festival’s Education Project, he works with over 300 children every year who engage creatively with modern music. This project was awarded the Junge Ohren Prize in 2014 and the Echo Klassik in 2016.
