Lilli Hermes was born in Lübeck in 2003. She began learning the violin before she turned five, later switching to the oboe at the age of 11. Up until 2020, she was taught by Cornelia Hemme and during her final academic year at the Institut für schulbegleitende Musikausbildung (ISMA) affiliated with the University of Music Lübeck (MHL), she was tutored by Johannes Brüggemann. Since the winter semester of 2021, she has been studying for her Bachelor’s degree under Kai Frömbgen at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH).

Lilli Hermes gained her first experience in an orchestral setting with youth ensembles such as the Jugendsinfonieorchester Lübeck, the Landesjugendorchester Schleswig-Holstein and the Landesjugendensemble für Neue Musik Schleswig-Holstein. Since taking up her studies in Hanover, she has also had the opportunity to participate in various projects with professional orchestras, including the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, the Philharmonie Südwestfalen and in collaborative projects with the NDR Radiophilharmonie. She has also participated in the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra and the Frenswegen International Summer Academy for Chamber Music. In the summer of 2025, she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Orchester, playing under conductors such as Michael Sanderling and Christoph Eschenbach. She has received further musical guidance from Nick Deutsch, Ralph van Daal, Diethelm Jonas and others.

Gréta Anna Déri began playing the horn in her hometown in Hungary at the age of 12. She continued her education in Budapest, before subsequently moving to Germany to study at Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. Since April 2024, she has been training with Szabolcs Zempléni at Berlin University of the Arts and regularly participates in masterclasses with Christian Dallmann, Raimund Zell, Johannes Hinterholzer and Frøydis Ree Wekre.

Gréta Anna Déri has gained orchestra experience, along with performances in prestigious concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Kammerensemble der Staatskapelle Berlin, the Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen and in the context of the Concertgebouw Young Dutch Musicians series. She has also performed in chamber music ensembles, winning a number of prizes in international competitions, including 1st Prize at the Vienna Classical Music Competition in 2021, as well as 1st Prize and the title ›Absolute Winner‹ at the 14th International Interpretative Competition for Wind Instruments in Brno, Czech Republic. Since 2023, the horn player has been a permanent member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, with whom she performs throughout Europe.

The Spanish-Canadian violinist from Barcelona began studying the violin at the age of four. He continued his education at the Institut Escola Artístic Oriol Martorell in Barcelona, graduating with honours in 2019. In the same year, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMD), where he pursued his studies under the tutelage of Marianne Piketty.

In 2021, he intensified his chamber music training in string quartet performance at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris, before graduating from the CNSMD in Lyon with the highest grade and honours. That same year, Biel Ricart Gélinas joined the Accademia Stauffer in Italy as part of the ›Artist Diploma Concertmaster‹ programme. He was also admitted to the Liechtenstein Music Academy, where he continues to take part in masterclasses with Ingolf Turban. He is currently enrolled on a Master of Performance course at the Musik-Akademie Basel with Barbara Doll.

Biel Ricart Gélinas has gained orchestra experience with, amongst others, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Ensemble Matheus, the Orchestre National d’Auvergne and the Budapest Festival Orchestra. He was a member of the Vivancos Quartet, with whom he was awarded several prizes in Spain, and he belongs to the pool of Musethica International musicians. He has also participated in the Pacific Music Festival, the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia, the Pablo Casals Festival and the European Union Youth Orchestra and has appeared several times as a soloist with the CNSMD Orchestra.

Hanna Daub began playing the cello at the age of nine, receiving her first lessons from Barbara Rieger at the Musikschule Tübingen. In 2019, she became a junior student in the class of Professor Tristan Cornut at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK), where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2025. She is currently pursuing her Master’s studies with Professor Jean-Guihen Queyras at the Freiburg University of Music.

Further artistic inspiration came through her studies at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Professor Frans Helmerson, as well as an Erasmus semester at the Conservatoire de Paris with Professor Raphaël Pidoux. She has also benefited from masterclasses with renowned cellists such as David Geringas, Gary Hoffman and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. The cellist has gained orchestra experience as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. In addition, she was an academist at the Summer Academy of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in Montpellier. Hanna Daub plays a cello made by Claude-Augustin Miremont, loaned to her by the Landessammlung Baden-Württemberg.

Gautier Olive was born in Toulouse in the South of France in 2001 and received his first percussion lessons at the age of six. He developed a keen interest in chamber music and chamber orchestra projects early on in his musical training and regularly performed with various ensembles. In 2017, he won 1st Prize at the French National Brass Band Championship with the Brass Band du Conservatoire. After graduating, he was admitted to the Bachelor programme in Johannes Fischer’s class at the University of Music Lübeck in 2021.

In the intervening years, Gautier Olive has specialized in instruments from the orchestral percussion repertoire, participating in projects with a number of youth orchestras, including the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the Junge Philharmonische Orchester Niedersachsen, as well as taking numerous masterclasses with renowned percussionists such as Wieland Welzel, Tom Greenleaves, Domenico Melchiorre and Jean-Baptiste Leclère. In 2022, he took part both as a soloist and with a chamber music ensemble in the 13th Malaysian Composers Concert Series in Kuala Lumpur. During the 2024/25 season, Gautier Olive was an academist with the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck (Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck), with whom he regularly performs, as well as with the Theater Kiel, the Mecklenburg State Theatre and the Würth Philharmonic Orchestra.

Hana Lee, born in Seoul, South Korea, began taking instrumental lessons aged nine and developed a deep passion for music from an early age. During her education in South Korea, she won awards at numerous national competitions. One formative experience was her participation in a masterclass led by Thomas Lindhorst in Seoul, where she met her current professor. This meeting inspired her to continue her studies in Germany. Today, Hana Lee is studying at Detmold University for Music (Hochschule für Musik Detmold), where she has successfully completed her Master’s degree and is currently broadening her artistic development on the graduate recital programme.

In 2024, the clarinettist and her quartet won the interpretation competition organized by Detmold Music University’s alumni association and subsequently performed with the ensemble at the prize-winners’ concert. Since 2026, Hana Lee has also been an academist at the Mahler Chamber Orchestra Academy, leading to performances at such prestigious concert halls as the Essen Philharmonic Hall, the Dortmund Concert Hall and the Cologne Philharmonic Hall.

Woo Ah Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1999. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University and is currently enrolled on the Master’s programme at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH). She also holds a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. While still studying in South Korea, she already won numerous first prizes in competitions.

Woo Ah Kim performed a solo recital at the Kumho Young Artist Concert Series and also made a concert appearance with the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also given guest performances with the Tongyeong Festival Orchestra, the Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, the Gwangju Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hwaum Chamber Orchestra and the Korean Chamber Orchestra, amongst others, and appeared at festivals such as the Jeonju International Chamber Music Festival, the Seocho Chamber Music Festival and the Verbier Festival. In addition to her position as an academist with The Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen, the bassoonist is also a member of the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the TIMF Ensemble Seoul, as well as a solo bassoonist with the Ditto Orchestra, the Seoul Youth Orchestra and the Orchestra Ensemble Seoul.

Born in Frankfurt am Main in 2003, Rebecca Tillmanns began playing the violin at the age of six. She also completed her early studies and the first part of her Bachelor’s degree in the class of Ulrich Edelmann in Frankfurt. In 2023, she switched to Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH) to study under Elisabeth Kufferath, where she is currently continuing her Bachelor studies. Rebecca Tillmanns has also been tutored by Midori, Ingolf Turban, Michael Sanderling, Oliver Wille and Maria Egelhof, amongst others. Since 2024, the violinist has received a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German Academic Scholarship Foundation).

As a keen orchestral musician, Rebecca Tillmanns gained early experiences in the National Youth Orchestra of Germany, played first violin in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, was an academist in the NDR Radiophilharmonie during the 2025/26 season and was invited to perform with the Staatskapelle Dresden on tour in South Korea. Rebecca Tillmanns plays a 1699 Jacobs violin, loaned to her by the Deutsche Musikinstrumentenstiftung (German Musical Instrument Foundation).

During her school days Friederike Latzko was a junior student at the University of Music in Cologne, where she received intensive chamber music lessons from the Amadeus Quartet. After earning her university entrance qualification, she changed to the University of the Arts in Berlin, where she gained further ensemble experience in all of the major West Berlin orchestras. She was a DAAD and Herbert von Karajan Foundation scholarship holder, associate teacher and lecturer with the German National Youth Orchestra and the Young German Philharmonic, as well as chamber music partner to renowned soloists.

In 1980, Friederike founded The Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen together with like-minded fellow students – at first under the name ›Chamber Orchestra of the Young German Philharmonic‹, then later from 1987 in Frankfurt ›Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie‹. In the meantime, she has been a solo violist and dedicated music teacher here for over 30 years.

With Mark Scheibe, she created the ›Melody for Life‹ and with Rodrigo Blumenstock, Stefan Latzko and Gunther Schwiddessen the orchestra project ›Sinfonia Concertante‹, in which members of The Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen play alongside dedicated amateurs.

Friederike Latzko has two grown-up children and spends any spare time in her studio painting and working on her next exhibition.

Born in Saarbrücken in 2003, Mara Reiter began learning the violin at the age of six, before switching to the double bass aged 11. She found her early musical inspiration with Germany’s National Youth Orchestra, and has also won multiple prizes in the national Jugend musiziert (Youth makes music) contest for amateurs. She began studying for her Bachelor’s degree under the tutelage of Bodo Paradžik in Freiburg in 2023, continuing her studies since the summer of 2025 with Pablo Santa Cruz in Berlin and in Hanover. Masterclasses with Dorin Marc, Nabil Shehata, Edicson Ruiz and Christine Hoock provided additional artistic inspiration.

Mara Reiter has gained experience in an orchestral setting with, amongst others, the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, the European Union Youth Orchestra as well as during an internship with the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg. In addition to classical double bass, she also enjoys playing jazz and discovering other musical genres. Beyond that, she likes experiencing music through dance almost as much as through playing and listening.
