Summer in Lesmona
ddkb logo sil17th to 19th August 2018
Knoops Park, Bremen-Lesum

Leaves rustling in the summer breeze, music - freed from the constraints of the concert hall - floating on the air. Summer has come to Knoops Park, time for The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen’s cult open-air festival.

Thousands of music-lovers from all over the world, armed with picnic baskets and folding chairs, flock to the banks of the Lesum each year in order to enjoy the good company and to savour the exquisite music under the skies.

Knoops Park – a place with a unique atmosphere and where, over 100 years ago, a moving love story unfolded – has been host to this three-day cult festival for 22 years. The autobiographical epistolary novel ›Summer in Lesmona‹ gave its name to the festival and tells the story of the summer romance between Marga and Percy whose passionate love was destined to remain unfulfilled.

Book the festival package before 29th July 2018 and enjoy great savings!
The festival package consists of four individual tickets which can be used as desired, thereby saving over 30% of the standard advanced purchase ticket price. Simply specify the events you would like to attend when purchasing the package.
