A three-time Grammy Award winner, she combines expressive musicality, artistic curiosity and technical skill with a diverse repertoire that she shares with the worldwide community. Hilary Hahn is a prolific recording artist whose recordings have won every international award. A staunch advocate of new music, she has also commissioned, premiered and recorded many contemporary works, including the Grammy award-winning Album ›In 27 Pieces: the Hilary Hahn Encores‹. This American violinist is currently Artist in Residence with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and at London’s Wigmore Hall.

This season, Hahn appears as soloist on concertos like Einojuhani Rautavaara’s ›Deux Sérénades‹ in its US premiere and many more. She also performs several solo recitals this season as well as the Bach repertoire.

Since the beginning of her career, Hilary Hahn has cultivated a strong relationship with her fans which, in addition to her social media activities and ›Bring Your Own Baby‹ concerts for parents with small children, also includes various educational initiatives. Hilary Hahn has received numerous awards and much recognition for her multifaceted commitment. In 2021 she was awarded the Herbert von Karajan Prize and in the same year gave the opening address at the annual ›Women in Classical Music Symposium‹. In 2023, she was named ›Artist of the Year‹ by Musical America. Hilary Hahn has a longstanding artistic friendship and collaboration with the Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen. In the summer of 2026, the Kammer­philharmonie and the violinist could once again be experienced together on an international festival tour.

As one of the leading conductors of opera and concert repertoire, Omer Meir Wellber regularly works with renowned orchestras such as the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra or the Swedish Radio Symphony. Since 2025, he has been General Music Director of the Hamburg Staatsoper and the Hamburg Philharmonisches Staatsorchester. His first opera production there in autumn 2025 was Schumann’s ›Das Paradies und die Peri‹. The programme with the Hamburg Philharmonisches Staatsorchester centres on the »multi-faceted concept of performance«. This is complemented by the new ›Die Blaue Woche‹ festival featuring chamber concerts and philharmonic concerts, with contemporary commissioned works woven into nearly all programmes. Until 2024, Wellber was Music Director of the Teatro Massimo Palermo, where he was awarded the Special Prize of the Italian Association of Music Critics.

Prior to that, he was Music Director of the Volksoper Wien and, until 2022, Principal Guest Conductor of the Semperoper Dresden. Highlights from his time as Chief Conductor of the BBC Philharmonic from 2019 to 2022 included concerts at the BBC Proms. In 2022, the multi-talented conductor was the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival’s featured artist, appearing there both as a conductor and as a performer on the accordion, harpsichord and piano. Omer Meir Wellber has enjoyed a close artistic friendship with the Deutsche Kammer­philharmonie Bremen for many years, as well as an intensive collaboration – most recently during a joint orchestra tour with the violinist Hilary Hahn, and conducting the Kammer­philharmonie at the Neuschwanstein Concerts in 2026 and the BBC Proms in London.

Geir Draugsvoll is regarded as one of the world’s leading classical accordionists and has for more than three decades been among the instrument’s foremost international ambassadors. His repertoire ranges from Bach, Mozart and Grieg to contemporary masterpieces by composers such as Gubaidulina, Berio, Hosokawa, Lindberg, Nørgård and Piazzolla.

As a soloist, he has performed with some of the world’s most distinguished orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Mariinsky Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Dresden, Russian National Orchestra, Moscow Soloists and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Donald Runnicles, Vasily Petrenko, Yuri Bashmet and Thomas Zehetmair.

Draugsvoll has appeared at leading international venues and festivals including the Barbican Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Semperoper Dresden, Konzerthaus Berlin, Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Edinburgh Festival, the Aldeburgh Festival and the Bergen International Festival.

He is Professor of Accordion at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and Artistic Director of the NordAccordion Festival in Voss, Norway.

His latest recording as soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra will be released in autumn 2026.
