Teresa Simone grew up in a musical family and received her first violin lessons aged five. She later studied with Tanja Becker-Bender, Albrecht Winter and Sebastian Hamann at Music Colleges in Hamburg, Cologne and Freiburg. Further inspiration came through numerous masterclasses, including with Donald Weilerstein and Anke Dill.

This young violinist has won a number of prizes in the German national competition ›Jugend Musiziert‹ for both her solo and her chamber music work. As a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Germany and also the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie she has given concerts in Europe, China, South America and South Africa. During the 2017/18 season she was also an apprentice member of the WDR Funkhausorchester.
