 | The first ›Principal Guest Conductor‹ The musicians of the ›Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie‹ had a particular affinity for the music of the ›Second Viennese School‹, that is, the works of Arnold Schoenberg, Alban Berg and Anton Webern. Several works of Schoenberg's circle were recorded with conductor Mario Venzago. Among the concerts under Venzago's direction (1988-1990), the performance of the rarely played Second Chamber Symphony (1989) of Arnold Schoenberg was considered to be especially outstanding.
