›Bella Italia‹ After the great success in 2009, Summer in Lesmona will take place in August again this year! 13 to 15 August 2010 Sun, sea, lush lemon and orange groves, vineyards, pasta, pesto, gelato, magnificent architecture, art, and culture - all these things come to mind when we think about Italy. ›Bella Italia‹ is the theme of this year's Summer in Lesmona, and, along with a Mediterranean atmosphere, that also means lots of music by Italian composers - Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, and Donizetti, to name but a few. The Bremen public will undoubtedly provide the rest of the Italian spirit and demonstrate that it has as much temperament and ›lightness of being‹ as any genuine Italian. Naturally, it would not be complete without the obligatory picnic basket - this year packed with delicious antipasti and fine Italian wine. We can only hope that the date following the summer holidays brings fantastic summer weather like last year, creating the perfect Italian atmosphere. (Photos: Winfried Schmitz)
