In response to sold-out shows and enthusiastic audiences, two performances were presented for the first time last year. Since they were such a great success, you can look forward to two fantastic performances again this year! The content of the show is strongly influenced by the home of the participants - the GSO and the suburb of Tenever. Approximately 10,000 people from 90 countries live in this socially disadvantaged area. For the GSO's principal, Franz Jentschke, the collaboration with the orchestra is a stroke of great luck. »Culture has found a home with us, and we experience that every single day.« Live in the Internet With the support of the GSO's video team and committed sponsors, the Melody of Life can be seen and heard in the Internet as a live stream again this year. Mark Scheibe The Bremen native has worked as a ballet coach with Hans Kresnik at the Bremen Theater and the Volksbühne in Berlin and was the studio pianist for the television show ›Extra 3.‹ He currently appears with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra on the RBB talk show ›Dickes B‹ and regularly presents his own show ›Berlin Revue‹ at Berlin's Admiralspalast. Mark Scheibe comes to the GSO for several days every month to work on the Melody of Life with the students.
