| Lothar Zagrosek was General Music Director of the Stuttgart State Opera for ten years and was twice honored as ›conductor of the year.‹ Since the 2006/07 season he has held the position of Chief Conductor of the Konzerthaus Orchestra in Berlin. Since 1995 he has been Principal Guest Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie (Young German Philharmonic), from which The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen developed.
