Since the ensemble's founding 28 years ago, one of the musicians' primary concerns has been to fill the next generation with enthusiasm for music and culture. Through their close involvement in the everyday routine at the Gesamtschule Bremen-Ost (Bremen East Comprehensive School), this goal is developing an even stronger profile. In the ›Future Lab‹, the musicians of The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen work closely with students and teachers on projects like ›Melody of Life‹ and ›Faust II‹.
But The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen also offers a wide range of programs for all other children, young people, families, pupils, and teachers with its series ›For Young Ears‹, which makes concerts accessible in a variety of ways, including concert introductions, family concerts, and workshops.
