After the tremendous success of the Faust II production with 500 participants in July 2009, the unique cooperation between an orchestra and a neighborhood is continuing. Africa is coming to Osterholz-Tenever in 2010!

In his world-famous novel Chronicler of the Winds, Henning Mankell describes the life of African street kids full of hope and exuberance. Experience a magical, visionary open-air combination of music, theater, literature, and dance in the middle of Osterholz-Tenever with students from the Gesamtschule Bremen-Ost, musicians from the Centre for Talent Expression in Winneba, Ghana, and The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen conducted by Alexander Shelley. Enjoy exciting classical works composed especially for this performance, rhythms of Ghana, and jazz sounds.
